Summary: The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. The bathroom was an especially good size with a very nice shower with plenty of hot water. The kitchen was well kitted out with a good supply of pots, pans, mixing bowels and utensils. While there is a microwave there is no oven but the electric stove top was very adequate for cooking things like salmon and chicken. The location was good — a 12 minute walk to grocery stores and the Dresden Neustadt Train station. It was about a 30 minute walk to the Alte Stadt with its historic museums and churches but the walk if one goes along the tree lined Hauptstrasse was very pleasant and did not seem like 30 minutes. There are a number of restaurants close by with a very nice cafe right in the building in front of the apartment. Simone’s access instructions were simple and very easy to understand. For the price, the apartment is very good value.
