Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Clean, newly renovated apartments. Quite spacious, there's an AC (recuperator?); balcony and a possibilty to reserve a parking spot in the garage under the house. Location is a bit more remote but there are still bars, shops, restaurants you can reach by foot. Pebble beach is right across the street. If you have a car Taormina is less than a 30 minute drive, there's also smaller cities around (within 15 minute drive) with convenience shops like Lidl, Condad etc. around. The owners are friendly and helpful.
Negative: The entrance to the garage is something you need to get used too as it is very steep and there's not so much space, so your parking skills need to be on point. Some minor inconveniences with kitchen utensils - no sharp knifes, no cheese grater and some teflon pan's are scratched. But that only matters if you are planning to make food at the apartment.
