Positive: The hosts wete charming, helpful (lots of suggestions) and had a chilled bottle of wine waiting to welcome us. The apartment was really spacious and done to a very high standard with a well equipped kitchen and many modern conveniences. There were some truly marvellous creative touches to the decor. The garden was beautiful and equally spacious with a very comfortable logia. It was close to Sintra and only 30 minutes from the elegant resort of Cascais and beaches. We had a super meal at the Incomum restaurant in Sintra.
Negative: The one and only slight downside was that the property was right next to the extremely busy N9. That said, the traffic was continuous so became white noise which we stopped noticing. We happlly stayed there and chilled the day the temperature hit 37 degrees C. The rest easily made up for any road noise. Don't let it put you off.
