the entrance to this large summer home transitions to very bright, spacious and open-concept living, dining and kitchen spaces that welcome you with comfortable furnishings styled in a coastal farmhouse vibe The vaulted living room ceiling is 20 feet high with soaring 17-foot windows overlooking the beach, ocean, whimsical pond and the rolling hills of neighboring farmlands. There are amazing views from literally every vantage point of the open space, on the main floor and upstairs. The house has 4 bedrooms sleeping 12 guests, 4 bathrooms and is air conditioned.
the custom kitchen is beautiful and bright! stainless steel appliances, which include a large french-door fridge, front control range and range hood, dishwasher and microwave, provide all the conveniences of home with an added luxury of a wine cooler and beverage centre The island is 10 feet long with stools that provide extra seating for 4 people. Counter space is abundant as are the cupboards and drawers for storage. A cook's delight in a well-designed space with natural "art-scapes" from every window.
directly across from the kitchen is the dining area, which features a locally crafted harvest table with seating for 10, and generous windows with great views Between the kitchen and dining spaces is a double-door access to the screen porch with east, west and south exposures. With sunlight from dawn to dusk, it provides views of the ocean, the pond and the rolling hills. This is a space you will not want to leave.
the living room is a perfect central gathering spot for family and friends, with two large, deep-seated, down filled sofas, leather arm chairs, a propane fireplace, 55 inch television, stunning views and access to the large ocean-side deck The deck runs the entire length of the back of the house and serves as a great outdoor entertaining and living space with classic Adirondack chairs.
beyond the living room a passage to the left leads you to the side-entry and laundry room, as well as an accessible bathroom, complete with toilet, vanity sink and shower To the right, the passage leads first to a king-bedroom with a large closet. Further down you will find a master king-bedroom with full ensuite complete with toilet, vanity sink and shower-tub, as well as a large closet. The master also boasts amazing ocean views with a private access to the ocean-side deck.
as you walk up to the second floor landing you are greeted with yet another gorgeous ocean view The family room den on this level opens to an upper deck through large patio doors. The views on this deck are panoramic! This is a great space for gazing, reading, gaming or napping! The den is equipped with a sofa and chairs for ample seating, and a large television.
overlooking the living spaces below, the second level passage provides access to two more bedrooms and bathrooms The third bedroom is also a master and features a king-bed, closet and full ensuite complete with toilet, vanity sink and shower-tub. The fourth bedroom was designed with built-in beds, two upper single beds and two lower queen beds all with adequate head space and built-in nooks. The bedroom also has a television to create a private and quiet media area for kids. At the end of the passage is the fourth full bathroom, complete with toilet, vanity sink and shower-tub.
