we love pets but they are not allowed inside - allergens/dander etc However, we will allow outdoor pets and there is a large garage for them to sleep in.
our community's private beach (three minute walk to the steps leading down to the beach) is very nice and is sandy, with a ridge of pebble for stone collecting
just 1 km north, at st Joseph, there is a second nearby beach area where you can drive down and park at beach level for free, only a 3 minute drive.
the white squirrel golf course is just across the highway from the cottage, within walking distance
also there a restaurant about a two minute walk from the cottage
in st joseph there is a variety store and a very large mennonite furniture store
the strip at grand bend is just 8 minutes to the south, as well as all the restaurants, harbours and shopping that grand bend has to offer
the beautiful village of bayfield with its harbours, restaurants and marinas is just 12 minutes north.
