stockton is the closest township with 3 pubs, an iga and take aways 10 mins from the Barn. A Ferry runs regularly to Newcastle CBD and parking is free.

best if travelling by car Room for caravan/or camper van or horse float. Local Bus is available from the end of the lane approximately one Km walk. Close to Stockton sand dunes 4x4 access.

other things to note:
please note we are on septic tanks and follow signs in this regard
the property has a large dam filled with bird life and fish
this is a natural rural property and as such, can from time to time have a variety of animal species Blue tongue lizards, bandicoots and green tree frogs are common. Snakes are rare but can be in long grass and near the dam. Please be aware and supervise animals and children.
