the house is an end of terrace townhouse with a prominent and elevated position overlooking west road with a stepped, split level garden to the front commanding views over the town and the derbyshire countryside beyond It was once a school for girls. There is ground floor level access to the rear of the property via a quiet cobbled, dead-end road with private off-road parking for two cars. This leads to a small enclosed south-facing courtyard and backdoor entrance into the kitchen.
from the front, the house is accessed through a stepped terrace garden with the front door opening to a porch with stained glass windows leading to a light, airy hallway with staircase and doors off to the front living room and rear dining room The kitchen is accessed from the dining room and has a separate corner door to a stone staircase leading down to the basement.
