what's in the area?: with just a 40 minute drive north west to the atlantic coast you will find the sunny beaches of fouras and chatelaillon plage And to the south west, still just 40 minutes, there are the beautiful beaches of Saint-Georges-de-Didonne and Saint-Palais-sur-Mer. with many more but unfortunately we haven’t visited them all!
with cognac a 35 minute drive, tours around one of the famous martell, hennessy or remy martin distilleries are a must
