The house sits up on a hill, overlooking the river. our guests will enjoy all aspects of the lodge during their stay We have a beautiful picnic area attached to the lodge that is enclosed on 3 sides perfect for cooking out. We call this "The Alcove". We also have a dock on the river that sits at the foot of our property. (You can either walk down the front lawn and across the street *about 100 yards**, or drive your vehicle to park on the pull-off next to the dock.) It houses 2 picnic tables for eating right on the water.
note: fishing in front of our property is prohibited from november 1st through february 1st, as this section of the river is closed for spawning during this time frame There are other sections of the river that remain open, just not directly in front of our house..
