many things are within walking distance and public transportation is very good in the area so it is not also necessary to have a vehicle if you just intend to stay in the area and enjoy the many offerings
getting around:
although recommended for convenience a rental car isn't absolutely necessary as you can walk to most restaurants, etc which are 1-10 mins away on foot. Taxis are also easily available.
alternatively, there is public transportation on our road, west bay road that travels along the seven mile beach strip

tamarind bay consists of 28 units, which are a mixture of short and long term rentals as well as owner occupied units
unit # 16 is located on the 2nd floor There is no elevator available so you will be required to use the stairs.

the tennis court is available for free during the day however there is a small fee of us$1200 for using the court during the night.
