the neighborhood:
the property is located on the southeast part of the island that’s a little less busy but not any less beautiful! the nearest beach is shark hole, about 16 km|1 mile away. It’s a tiny beach tucked away in a cove. Sam Lord’s Castle, a notorious pirate’s castle, is about a 5-9 minute drive (or 25-min walk) from the home. There’s a nearby lookout where you can get some really great pictures and a secluded beach there if you’d like to have a picnic. And Six Roads is just a 6-10 minute drive away with everything you could need – eateries, supermarkets, banks, shopping, hardware, Western Union, and much more. it’s kind of like a mini bridgetown but closer to home!

once on the island, there’s easy access via public transportation in all 11 parishes Public transport (blue bus) and private transport (vans) are both $3.50 bds per ride (as of Sept 2022) you can take from Speightstown.
