We are a family of four living in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our recently added basement guest room has a private entrance and private bathroom. We have a large backyard with fruit trees, a fire pit and outdoor heater. Alameda is an island city approximately 10 miles outside of San Francisco and just 2 miles from Oakland. Our home is 1.5 miles from a ferry to San Francisco (20 minute ride) and within walking distance of restaurants, shops and the beach.
please note, the basement has lower than average ceilings and ranges from 6'4" - 7'2" The bathroom is not ensuite, but is private and not shared. Parts of the basement common areas are still unfinished but the bedroom and bathroom are complete with thoughtful touches. Refrigerator, microwave, toaster and coffee maker provided for your private use.
