getting around:
needless to say, surrounded by trams, cabs, buses, getting around is not going to be a problem at all
we're only a 1 min walk to hoddle st/victoria st tram stop and 3 min walk to north richmond train station
myki is the card you will need for all public transport When using a Myki card, please remember to always have sufficient value for your journey as hefty on the spot fines apply if you travel without correct fare or do not "tap on." Trips are about $3.80 for a 2-hour journey, but it all depends on what zones you travel in, if you are a concession card holder and if you buy a day pass.
myki cards can be topped up at any 7-11 stores or at many other shops that display the myki logo MYKI machines are located at major tram stops, train stations and at convenience stores and newsagents. Please be aware that cards can't be topped up on trams or trains any longer.
