Great hiking terrain for the whole family invites to hiking along the fjord or up the mountain. Nice starting point for day trips by car around the area; to the island kingdom Vikna with small fishing villages and the village Rørvik. From Rørvik, boats go to the old fishing village Sør-Gjeslingan out at sea and are a sight to behold. Visit the island Leka and the mountain Heilhornet in the north which rises over 1,000 masl. The view from the mountain top is magnificent. 7 km to grocery store.
