the château was built by guillaume apollinaire's uncle, baron després,
the salon is decorated with works of art paying tribute to apollinaire's friends, as well as to the music and composers of apollinaire's time The "wall of friends" features specially commissioned drawings by Debussy, Ravel, Gershwin and Satie. On either side of the salon is a private bedroom with large beds and tapestries by Modigliani (another of Apollinaire's friends). Each private marble bathroom is fully equipped with thick, luxurious white towels. Upstairs, in the attic, is a third dormered bedroom with original oak beams. Twin beds can be converted into a king-size bed on request. A third marble bathroom is on the right as you enter.
