THE HOUSE: You won't find a better house for an outdoorsy family or group of friends! The house has plenty of space for everyone with 5 bedrooms, a loft, family room, game room, 2 kitchens, dining areas, laundry room and more. The large upstairs deck is the perfect spot to wake up and sip coffee, watching the wildlife roam the 7 acre property. This is also a great spot to relax after an epic day hiking in Glacier National Park or any of the other wonderful nearby hiking areas (some within walking distance of the property), have a meal, or just hang out. The downstairs patio is a nice, shady place to sit on a sunny day, or bbq in the evening before you spend some time relaxing by the fire pit. Enjoy wildlife viewing from your bedroom or the upstairs deck of the house! Turkeys and Deer frequent the area often along with many different types of birds.

2,500 acres of hiking and mountain biking trails accessible from the property: one of the biggest perks of the property is access to some of the best hiking and mountain biking trails in the valley 1/4 mile walk from the house is the South Spencer Trailhead which is part of the Whitefish Trails System, specifically the Spencer Mountain Area. This trail system is 2,500 acres and is home to miles and miles of marked trails for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding, xc skiing, and snowshoeing. The scenery is a combination of wooded trails, ridge top views, meadows, and wildflowers. From novice trails to expert free riding trails, this is a mecca for mountain bikers as well. these trails are rarely crowded and accessible from the property!

Whitefish offers first class dining, shopping, farmers markets, and more. WHITEFISH LAKE is another fantastic place to spend a day. With multiple state beaches, city beaches, paddle board, kayak, boat, jet ski rentals and more, you are bound to have some fun on the lake. With so many championship GOLF COURSES within a 20 minute drive, the area is a golfers dream, especially in the Spring and Fall. HORSEBACK RIDING at the Bar W is about a 10 minute drive away. Our guests often come to spend some time in GLACIER NATIONAL PARK, which is only about 40 minutes away and is such a beautiful place to visit. WEST GLACIER is also home to WHITEWATER RAFTING TRIPS, HORSEBACK RIDING, LLAMA TREKKING, and more. Whitefish Mountain Resort is about 25 minutes away and is the place to go for first class SKIING and SNOWBOARDING. In Summer, the mountain is great for MOUNTAIN BIKING, HIKING, ZIP LINING, CHAIR LIFTS, ALPINE SLIDE, ROPES COURSE, and more. kalispell and whitefish are very close as well! this is just the beginning of all the things you can do in the area, but we are happy to share more ideas as you start planning your trip!

SNOWMOBILE rentals and guided tours are extremely accessible a short distance away. ICE SKATING on Beaver Lake, just up the road is a super fun winter activity. ICE FISHING, DOG SLEDDING, and ICE CLIMBING are all other great activities nearby in the winter.
