Bea’s Cottage is in the heart of Cresswell village located in a prime position a stone’s throw from the sea! Originally a fisherman’s cottage the owners have restored the cottage which oozes character and charm and reflects some of the original features which have been brought back to life. With original beams and a wonderful inglenook fireplace housing the cosy large wood burner on the ground floor provides a warm, relaxing, and homely place to relax and unwind.
the living room is large and spacious with beautiful views from the front window out across the field to pele tower, an old medieval tower, recently decorated with beautiful views from the top! the living room opens directly into the kitchen/dining room The kitchen has a large old table to sit around and enjoy some home-cooked breakfasts or lunches. Upstairs are three cosy bedrooms and a small family bathroom with a freestanding deep bath. There are low beams upstairs, clearly marked to help reduce the risk of accidental bumps. French doors at the back of the kitchen take you out into a small patio area.

Bea’s Cottage is located within reach of all the top tourist attractions throughout this friendly diverse county. Just over a mile, you have a good pub serving food and some local amenities in Ellington. Only 8 miles away is Morpeth, a pretty market town with some excellent shops and restaurants, popular on a weekend with locals.
it is easy to explore from this ideal holiday base with amble only 9 miles with a busy sunday market and nice places to eat, and alnwick is only a half-hour’s drive with the majestic castle featured in some harry potter and downton abbey scenes Over to the west, discover Hadrian’s Wall.
