Cosy and welcoming, it has a delightful living room with large wood burner, perfect for those chillier evenings. The dining room opens onto the well-equipped kitchen. The bedrooms are on the first floor as well as a family bathroom and the added advantage of a downstairs shower room. It’s the perfect little bolt hole to enjoy either a few days or a week exploring the wonderful countryside.

Mabie also boasts some fantastic blue and green trails for beginners, and the ever-popular Phoenix Trail is 12 miles of hugely enjoyable red-grade trails for the more experienced rider. Experts are catered for, too, with the Dark Side Northshore mountain bike trail. all this can be enjoyed only a stone’s throw away from keeper’s cottage!
