Because of the open nature of the surrounding landscape, the garden is a great place to relax in, soak up the sun and enjoy the wildlife and views all around. Immediately behind the property is a dense wood with red squirrels and birds of prey. From the top you have stunning views to Skiddaw, one of the highest fells in the Lake District National Park.
