A walk along the pier is always pleasant with some lovely sunsets to finish off your day.

The beaches up the Northumberland Coast AONB remain unspoilt and underpopulated so there is always a place to find some seclusion should you wish, Creswell and Druridge Bay beaches remain isolated most of the time and are only a short drive south. Whilst in Northumberland why not take a trip over to Hadrian’s Wall for a completely different day trip away from the coast and discover more about the Romans and the famous Roman Wall.
