Woodland Retreat is our very spacious yet cozy home in Locust Lake Village. Our place is 3,000+ sq ft & comfortably accommodates large families. We have 4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths, a large kitchen with bar seating, 2 Living rooms, vaulted ceilings w/skylights & natural light throughout. We have a lofted game area with games and a small pool table for children. Our home has an outdoor shower and seating with a bbq area off the den. It is full of sunlight, and peaceful with lots of deer and trees. Woodland Retreat is our very spacious yet cozy home in Locust Lake Village. We have a lofted game area with games and a small pool table for children. Cozy gas fireplace with remote in the living room. Our home has an outdoor shower and seating with a bbq area off the den. Enjoy the amenities within the Locust Lake Village or explore the nearby ski resorts, water parks, hiking trails, and shops. We have a welcome book offering many suggestions for anything you need or want to do. Only two blocks away from the lake, all lakes in LLV offer bbq areas with picnic tables, beaches with volleyball, bathrooms, and events for children and adults. We also have tennis courts and archery. Pines lakes offers boat rental on the weekends where you can rent peddle boats, paddle boards, canoes, and kayaks by the hour. In winter our community had a ski hill with a T bar lift open on weekends and it is $10 a person, we also have a tubing hill that is free and has lights for the evening. Woodland Retreat is the perfect place for all seasons & memorable vacations all year round. Woodland Terrace is located in Locust Lake Village. Our community requests all incoming guests and vehicles to be registered in their association office for security purposes. Car registration fee is $5/car. The association office is located in the entrance of community. The office's address is 1778 Lake Lane Pocono Lake, PA 18347 You will receive - A dated renter’s parking permit which must be displayed on every vehicle rear view mirror at all times. - Six wristbands for anyone over 12 years old to use for the length of your stay in order to use the amenities. Additional wristbands are available for $9/day at the office. The driveway can fit up to 5 cars, no street parking is allowed in the community. For monthly rentals this home can host 10 people, please inquire with the host as the monthly rental rates are based on 6-person occupancy, the price will increase if the amount of people is over 6 for a monthly rental. Happy to leave plenty of guidance and only a text or phone call away if you need anything at all! We have 4 lakes in our community, one is an 8-minute walk from our home. We have a small ski hill with a T-bar lift on the weekends, the sledding hill is open every day. Our community is approx. 10 mins drive to the Kalahari Waterpark & Jack Frost, Big Boulder, Pocono Race Track. 20-25 minutes to Camelback resorts, Mount Airy Casino, Crossing outlets & water rafting. 35-40 minutes from Bushkill Falls, Historic Jim Thorpe, Skirmish paintball, Scranton Electric City. The best way to get around is by car. Locust Lake Village has 24 hours security. The community has a $5/car fee for the length of your stay. You are able to drive to any of the four lakes and/or amenities with the car tag the office will give you at check-in. Our driveway can fit up to 5 cars, no street parking is allowed in the community. Please note the community's speed limit is 25 m/h. Security enforces reckless driving with violation tickets. The community requests for all guests and cars to be registered ($5/car) prior to renting our home. You will receive up to 6 wristbands for your stay. Any additional wristbands needed, the office charges $9/day per wristband. Anyone under 12 years old, doesn't need to use a wristband to use the amenities, lakes and/or attend community events. All guests must show proof if ID, and bring car registration/insurance documents. The hanging car tags that you will receive upon checking-in at the office must be displayed on the rearview mirrors at all times. There is an attended compactor at 202 Martha’s Lane where your garbage and recycling can be dropped off. The compactor closes most days at 3:30pm, 5pm on Wednesdays & Sundays and are closed on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Easter Sunday, Thanksgiving & Christmas Days. We are pet-friendly! We charge a $50/pet fee. We request to please trim your pet's nails to avoid damage to the floors and/or furniture and also to use flea & tick preventative medication. Please do not leave your dog unattended or alone at home, especially soon after arriving at the house. Always pick up and dispose of your animal's waste. We do not advertise any of the fireplaces (even though you might see them in some pictures) because they are being serviced. For everyone's safety, they are not meant to be used until further notice.
