This charming 5 bedroom 3 bath mountain home with handicap access ramp, sleeps up to 14. King Master Bedroom with walk-in shower, 2 Queen Bedrooms, a bedroom with two twins and a 5th bedroom with a full size bed and a set of Bunk Beds - great for teenagers or kids. You can enjoy the 14 acres and hike down to the rushing creek, build a campfire in the fire pit by the creek where there's lots of wood. Amenities include the Outdoor Hot Tub, and the Pool Table, Air Hockey, Foos Ball and Ping Pong are in the rec room for "Kids" of all ages. it features a wood burning fireplace, two family rooms, two kitchens and great privacy on the deck
there's a fort playground for kids right outside your door! . This fun vacation home is 6 miles from Asheville to the southwest - out in the country near Candler and in Pisgah National Forest. The wonderful Bent Creek Preserve with 600 acres of Hiking, Lake Powhatan for lake swimming, fishing and grills for roasting hot dogs is within 10 minutes and also gives you quick access to the famous Blue Ridge Parkway with fabulous panoramic views and many trail heads. Whitewater Rafting, Zipline Adventures, Hot Air Ballooning and Horseback Riding are more terrific activities you can enjoy from your family headquarters at Eagles Landing. Dollywood is within 60 minutes over in Tennessee and for those who like to take their chances, Harrah's Casino is just to the West along with the rich heritage and history you'll experience at the Cherokee Reservation. There's also a second vacation home on the property called Dancing Waters which overlooks the creek and gives larger families another place that sleeps up to 7. While there is a small metal firepit outside your door for Small fires to make s'mores, please purchase a bundle of small wood for using in it. This vacation home also has a wood burning fireplace in the great room and any large logs you see at the property are to be used only in the fireplace - pool table, ping pong and foosball in the game room, large Hot Tub outside the Den/Poker Room and a trail down to the Creek with a Campfire circle and logs for burning under the nearby shed. The meandering creek about a 5 minute hike down the hill is fun for playing and wading. A recent guest stated " This has been the best family vacation our family of 10 has ever had! I loved teaching my son the game of pool and the kids loved playing in and around the creek which was a short hike down from the house" . Another group of adults stated " While we loved being so close to downtown and to the Biltmore, the heavily wooded acreage offered such peace and serenity and the turkeys spotted right off the deck were so comical to see!"
