Positive: Plus: parking space, location next to the cliffs of Kerry and a complimentary pass to the cliffs from the host, views, kitchen well equipped, comfy beds, fire place in the sitting room with stack of firewood, laundry line outside to dry the clothes and the electric drier also in the kitchen; big bath, stack of towels, some soap in the toilets, tissue paper there and dishwasher tablets also supplied as well as washing up liquid. Well equipped kitchen. Helpful host if you needed anything she was trying to sort it out.
Negative: Minus: location on this website doesn't bring you to the house ( txt the host for eircode); not a bungalow on its own- host right behind the wall next to you sharing the back garden and the doors at the back right beside each other as well as the windows, host owns 3 big collie like dogs in fairness well behaved however at night they jump the little fence and go to the toilet in the front of the bungalow on the little grass pitch so if you think of letting kids play on the grass be mindful of surprises left there; en suite shower hot water only if pre heated by fire place or electric boiler, same the bath. Electric shower only one in the big bathroom on the corridor. You pay for electricity used, host will write down the units on arrival and you pay for whatever used. You will need to have a car to get from the bungalow elsewhere as it's quite a remote location. Barbeque and garden furniture mentioned in the website do not exist. You have 1 stone bench at the back and a stone bench in the front garden only. No BBQ at all. We arrived passed check in time but the accommodation wasn't ready. We were told to wait as previous guests left the accommodation in a bad shape and cleaning was delayed...fire was lit for us in the fireplace so we waited in the sitting room. Host washed all the towels previous guests used in the washing machine and while these were still washing the units were written down for us to start paying for electricity... cupboards in the kitchen and shelves are almost all already taken and it was 6 of us with a lot of stuff staying in for a week so we had difficulty with unpacking. Lots of private ornaments in the kitchen or in the sitting room area which could be cleared away leaving more room for guests...we asked for BBQ but were told it doesn't exist right away and that it should not be on the website...host 2 steps away from you right at the back where your back door is, her main entrance is also.
