this 1950's home has huge picture windows, giving it amazing light and gorgeous water and mountain views Being on the west side of Whidbey Island makes for stunning sunsets. Beach access point is very close.
home interior is tastefully decorated with a mix of modern furnishings and festive vintage decor Indoor and outdoor dining areas. Numerous spacious and comfy seating areas. Large kitchen with huge island and 4 stools. Excellent supply of dishes, cookware, sharp knives, baking supplies, glassware and small appliances (see below for more detailed list). All beds are new and have new bedding.
huge covered deck with propane fireplace Sit outside protected from the elements any time of year. The deck and most of the rooms upstairs have direct views of Puget Sound and the Olympic Mountains. Large fenced yard. Propane barbecue, 2 fire pits, and plenty of outdoor seating/lounging.
located in a wonderful beach community, between the clinton and keystone ferries, minutes from south whidbey state park Easy access to downtown Langley, Greenbank Farms, Ebey's Landing, Fort Casey, the historic Coupeville Wharf on Penn Cove, Double Bluff, and Deception Pass. Near to amazing restaurants, wineries, antique stores, parks, beaches, hiking trails, farmers markets and art galleries.

**note: the upstairs and downstairs are connected by a covered outdoor staircase that runs along the backside of the house The main bedroom is upstairs, and the other bedroom and the bunk area are downstairs, so some people with small children may choose to have the whole family sleep downstairs. The home has ring doorbells and keyless entry on both front doors.

-we understand unforeseen things can happen even when you're being careful and respectful Please contact us right away to let us know if something happens. It's much better if you inform us immediately if anything gets broken or damaged. We are generally very understanding of small accidents, as long as you are transparent about it.
-if you have any concerns at all about the rental or have any trouble with anything and need help, please contact us right away so we have the opportunity to address it and to help make your vacation enjoyable and relaxing!

-we love dogs and want you to be able to bring your furry family members, so we will allow 2 dogs on a case by case basis Upon booking, please send us a brief description of your dogs to help us feel comfortable letting them join you on your vacation to our home.
we have found being clear with the rules, expectations, and consequences to be helpful and necessary It not only helps us protect our home, but also helps maintain a clean and high quality atmosphere and helps ensure the enjoyment of our space for all our guests.
before agreeing to invite your dogs, we do have some explicit guidelines that need to be agreed to By booking, you are acknowledging your understanding of all the rules and agreeing to follow them, and you are indicating that you understand the consequences for non-compliance.

-two dogs only If you bring more than 2 dogs, we reserve the right to ask you to leave without a refund and you may forfeit your deposits.
-your dogs may not be on any of the furniture inside or out at any time
-paws must be clean and dry before entering the house Dog towels will be provided.
-please clean up all dog waste on and off the premises A starter roll of doggy waste bags will be provided.
-please do not leave your dogs in the home alone
-if your dogs absolutely must be left alone for a short period, they must be left in the garage while you are away
-dogs may not cause excessive noise or intimidation to our neighbors or passers by
-dogs must be on leash at all times when off the property, including on the beach there are two huge off-leash areas nearby that we are happy to tell you about!
