Less than 10 minutes away is the beautiful and warm Gulf of Mexico. In the warm clear waters of the Gulf, you can fish or swim, hunt for scallops in season or view the wildlife everywhere. A typical day on the Gulf provides encounters with dolphins, turtles and the occasional manatee. These lovely creatures are often in the canal behind the home. A wildlife refuge is less than 200 feet away from this home. There are many kinds of fish live in the canals and we provide an outside sink to clean your fresh catch. You can then grill it on the provided gas grill. (Guests supply the gas if the tank is empty.) You can bring your own boat and tie up to the dock.
