Ideal location in the Village of Skaneateles. This 3 bedroom, 2 full bath home was newly remodeled inside and out in 2020. It is conveniently located on a quiet residential street and is just over 3 blocks to the lake and all the village amenities. The backyard opens into FC Austin Park with tennis courts, basketball courts, a baseball field, volleyball nets, a walking track, a giant playground, and tons of green space. The YMCA with a fitness center, gymnasium, aquatic center complete waterslide and splash playground, and two all-season NHL hockey rinks is right next door. You can swim at the public beach in one of the cleanest lakes in the world. It is a short and quiet walk to the village center full of unique shops, numerous 4+ star restaurants, and concerts by the lake on Friday nights in the summer.
skaneateles also hosts the curbstone festival the 3rd weekend in july, the skaneateles antique and classic boat show the last weekend in july, the skaneateles festival in august, and skanraces labor day weekend The famous Dickens Christmas runs the day after Thanksgiving through the end of December where the village comes alive with Dickens characters that interact with visitors in the heart of downtown or when just stopping by the grocery store for a few items. it is truly the best time to bring your family if you do not make it during the summer!
