Positive: The Villa is spectacular, surrounded by lush tropical gardens including a pond and a stream and is close to the shops, cafes and beaches. It is very peaceful and tranquil, perfect for relaxing on a veranda with a cup of tea and a book. It's very comfortable inside, with a well-stocked kitchen (no oven due to the place running on a generator) and a glorious main bedroom and bathroom upstairs. We absolutely loved the place and would come back again!
Negative: This property was advertised as a three-bedroom villa and rented as an entire house. We booked this place thinking we were renting a 3-bedroom place but when we arrived, late in the evening, the other two bedrooms were locked and inaccessible. We had to call the property manager for someone to come out to unlock and prepare the other bedroom and were told that we would have to play an additional $100 per night for the 2nd bedroom. This was quite a shock, especially that the 2nd bedroom is very small and is located outside the main interior of the property (so if you need the bathroom during the night you can only access it through the main house). We explained our confusion to the owners who kindly waived the extra charges, but do be aware that the advertising is confusing and make sure that if you require the extra bedrooms, as we did, you need to clearly communicate that to the owners.
