Positive: Big house. Clean. Wifi worked.
Negative: 1. Directions The directions on Booking.com was complete garbage. The owner said he sent me a PIN prior to my arrival but I cannot find it. We drove for hours that night to try and find the place and eventually had to book into a hotel at 1am for Rs5900 for the night. Of course we were ripped off, but we could find no other place to sleep. The next day we got the location PIN but still asked the man to fetch us at the hotel because we had criss-crossed that area and could not find the property. When finally at the house, we saw a tiny little sign on the gate. We would never have found it at night. We had no air time and no wifi. Unlike South Africa, sim cards and air time are only sold in a few shops that were closed. The owner only called us at 11pm when our plane had landed at 7:30pm, but we had no wifi or data for Mauritius so we did not get the call. 2. Showers The only other complaint is that there are no soap dishes in the showers?!? 3. Work space The dining room tables are outside and there are no power points, so it was difficult to use a pc.
Summary: It was conveniently located for our purposes.
