you get the whole place to yourself There is a full kitchen and all the comforts of home. You have total privacy, yet I am only a phone call or text away, should the need arise. If you stay long-term, I will check in with you periodically, but basically leave you alone unless you contact me.

the natural shoreline is quiet, and the shallow water is perfect for small children This is a great spot to hunt for shells and sea life, as well as enjoy the natural surroundings. Bird watchers enjoy this side of the island and a bald eagle frequents the area. Please note, at low tide, the floor can be mushy or muddy in places - it is best traveled with water shoes (but still doable if you don't mind the squish). This is the shoreline of Port Royal Sound - if you are looking to boogie board or enjoy waves and fluffy sand, we recommend Islanders Beach or Folly Field Beach which are Atlantic-facing beaches about a 10-minute drive away.
