Positive: Just a lovely spot. Nestled in the trees but getting a lot of light, this is a real piece of Sea Ranch architecture. The house was designed in 1969 by one of the original architects of the Sea Ranch community. It has been wonderfully maintained and comfortably updated by the current owners. Funky original touches everywhere (see wallpaper!). Everything works. Very comfortable king size bed. Comfy cozy seating areas. Wifi is terrific! We saw deer in the little meadow outside the window each morning. Close to the lodge and all the rec centers. A real magical place!
Negative: The appliances and bathrooms might be a bit dated for some people, but we loved them. Very authentic Sea Ranch experience. Be aware that this is not a typical Bookings or AirB+B because the property is managed by an outside agency, Vacasa, so you really have to work through them. One thing for the managers to have a look at—quite a few of the lights were not working.
