woodlawn is in the heart of bourbon country The home sits on an acre of well manicured grounds and gardens containing 200 year old Ash trees. Woodlawn has been painstakingly restored and renovated, harmonizing the luxuries of the 21st century with the classic design of southern sophistication of the past. For more than two decades this home has served as the heart of many of our family gatherings and special events. The furnishings include an eclectic mix of art and furniture acquired during our expat years and our travels around the world. We want to open our home for your enjoyment. No matter where we have lived in the world we have always been drawn back to Lexington. Woodlawn is within 3 miles of downtown Lexington and Rupp Arena, home of the Kentucky Wildcats. Lexington is known as "The Horse Capital of the World". Our home is less than 10 miles to the Bluegrass Field-Lexington Airport, Keenland Racetrack and The Kentucky Horse Park. Woodlawn is conveniently located in close proximity to many of the bourbon distilleries on The Kentucky Bourbon Trail and we are super excited to share it with you. come enjoy our southern hospitality!
