Summary: We were initially given a room directly above the pub, which was extremely noisy. I had to request a room change, and to their credit, we were moved to an accessible room. While the new room was quieter, it did have several issues. The main light in the room didn’t stay on properly, and the accessible bathroom was potentially hazardous — the shower flooring was incredibly slippery and not up to standard. This poses a serious risk, especially for those with mobility issues, and needs urgent attention before someone gets hurt. Although there was a kettle and mugs in the room, there was no tea, coffee, or milk provided. A small but noticeable oversight. Breakfast was another area of concern. It’s served from 8:30am, which is quite late, and when I politely asked if it was possible to order slightly earlier, one staff member was quite rude. Thankfully, another team member stepped in and kindly took our order. The food itself was fairly standard — nothing exceptional. Overall, the stay had some redeeming aspects, but the room safety concerns and customer service left a lot to be desired.
