Positive: The location and view of this place is terrific. The beds were quite comfortable. The decor is quite pretty. The upstairs inside common areas are comfortable and great for a group to hang out, cook, play games, watch tv, etc. The kitchen, overall, is well equipped. Do know the 2nd large bedroom w/ Q & full have an open wall to the common area, so noise does travel there.
Negative: The day we were arriving, Vacasa sent us a text stating there was a problem w/ the deck and that it was closed. It was quite clear, upon arrival, that the two sliding doors to the deck had been "screwed" closed for ages and this wasn't a new problem. The fireplace is also out of use with a sign that says, "parts on order." The yard surrounding the property was very overgrown, so there's no ability to sit outside. In particular, the deck and back are "highlights" of the property, yet they are inaccessible to renters. The windows on the front and sides were so dirty, you could barely see out and felt like you were in a fishbowl. Day 2 we discovered the outdoor hose and extra long squeegee and hosed down the windows. Now the view was as pictured; beautiful.
Summary: So much potential here. Wish, in particular, that the deck was accessible & windows cleaned.
