q: can i host a small wedding? how about 50 guests? what if not everyone is staying, just coming to the house for the wedding and sleeping elsewhere?
a: it's case-by-case on this one This is a Residential Home, Not a Formal Event Facility and We Don't Have a Parking Lot, Just Two Large Driveways and No Street Parking. So If You Are Planning on Inviting 50 Guests to Your Wedding, and Only 12 of You Are Staying at the House, What Happens When Uncle George and Aunt Irene Are Ready to Leave After the Cake Cutting, and There Are Half a Dozen Cars Behind Theirs Since They Arrived First to Help You Set Up? Now You Have to Take Time Away From Your Special Day to Find Out Who is Driving the Black Prius, the Tesla with Alabama Plates, the Tesla with Florida Plates, Both Black Volvo SUVs... You See Where I'm Going with This.

a: no fee! just the nightly rental

a: i welcome guests to host small events at the lodge, but i am not able to personally provide onsite event planning and coordination This Would Include Things Such as Taking Measurements for Tables and Tents, Inventory in the Kitchen, Local Vendor Coordination, Scheduling Delivery for Floral, Catering, Etc. My On-Site Event Coordinator is Available to Help You If You Need. After Booking, I Will Provide Her Contact Info and She Will Go Over Her Services and Fees. Please Remember, While I Welcome Small Weddings and Events, This is a Residential Home, Not a Dedicated Events Facility. Things Like Tables, Chairs, Catering Supplies, Serving Platters, Chafing Dishes, Tablecloths, Napkins, Etc Are Not Provided, and We Do Not Have a Parking Lot.
q: will my family have the whole property to ourselves or is this a shared resort?
a: all yours! it looks like a hotel, i know, but when you choose this home for your vacation, you get it all to yourself

a: yes! the pool is heated to 82 year round

a: the house is located in morganton, ga If You Use Your Favorite Map Application and Navigate From Morganton, GA to Your Desired Attraction, Winery, Museum, or Airport, You'll Get a Good Idea on Distance.
q: what are the nearest airports?
a: atlanta international and chatanooga are both about 90 minutes away depending on traffic

a: i provide a full directv package for two reasons sort of related Everyone Knows How to Pick Up the Remote and Flip Through Channels. Not Everyone, Including Your Host, Knows How to Plug in One of Those Fire Stick Thingies and Stream. So if You're Tech Savvy and Want to Get All Fancy with Your Fire Stick, Go On with Your Bad Self. But if You See Yourself Wanting to Stream and Needing Tech Support with Inputs, AUX #s and Passwords, I Am Not Your Girl.

we want everyone to have fun, but we have to enforce some rules
no rowdy gatherings, raging parties or big, loud events Quiet Time is 9:00. This home is not a formal event facility or suitable for ragers or keg parties. This mountain is home for some of our retired neighbors. Please be considerate.
the trampoline is intended for small children Grownups jump at your own risk. It's a low bounce tramp and the ceiling is high, but if you're really tall and having lots of fun, you might manage to bump your head.
kids must be supervised on the trampoline at all times
kids must be supervised in and around the pool at all times Misty Mountain Lodge's pool has a serious deep end. Stay to the shallow half if you are not a strong swimmer.
