New flooring throughout. One of the rare homes in this neighborhood with air conditioning. Lovely landscaped backyard with upper deck and lower patio that provides a wonderful respite. Very clean and pet-free house to minimize allergen concerns. Backyard has a small ADU rented by a very quiet single individual who has their own outdoor space behind their unit.

Summary: This is an exceptional home in a great neighborhood. Amenities inside were perfect for a long weekend stay. It's a beautifully decorated home that made us feel very comfortable. Walk or short drive to hiking, restaurants, and other destinations makes it a terrific location. It was nice to stay a short drive from Berkeley (the purpose of our trip) so we could have quiet evenings away from the campus atmosphere. The owner was extremely communicative, helpful in identifying the best dates for our stay, proactive in leaving recommendations for local haunts, and always quick to respond. This may be the best VRBO value we've encountered and is now on our list of favorites. It is a place we'd like to return on one of our frequent visits to the Bay Area. We obviously can't say enough good things about this host and his home. Highly recommend.
