walk just 10 minutes to kahvila siiri right on the coast where you can enjoy light lunches and fresh home baked delicacies – a favourite place for locals
for something a little bigger, ideapark lempäälä is a huge shopping centre just 10 minutes from the lake house that features over 150 shops and 20 restaurants and cafes for you to choose from They also hold seasonal events throughout the year with something fun for the whole family to come and enjoy as well as a year-round entertainment centre.
there are also many padel courts just 2kms away in hakkari along with skiing and a frisbee golf course or if you want to play some real golf, there is a great course in vaihmala just 2kms away
the lake and the adjacent rapids are popular among fishermen with good fishing from the boat and also from the shore if you don’t want to get your feet wet There are also some popular river fishing spots within 1-2 km along the shoreline.
the birgita hiking trail and the lemmälä canoeing trail pass by the house and in winter, enjoy all the fun of the ski slopes just 2kms away giving you a fun and entertaining year round destination
the best way to get around is with your own car or in a rental with free parking included with your stay and plenty of parking in the city
there is a bus stop just 50m from the house which takes roughly 30-40 mins to get to tampere and only 10 minutes to ideapark
you can also take a train with a station 12km away that takes around 10 minutes to arrive in Tampere.
