It's very private, great for bikers and convenient to local attractions. There is a fenced back yard for dogs, and the house is on a huge lot looking out toward the French Broad River valley with mountains in the distance. the home is called shea farm and until a couple years ago it was an active farm that grew produce that was donated to the local food bank There are fruit trees, flowers and lots of food crops still growing so if you find that spending time in the garden is therapeutic there is a lot to like about Shea Farm. This home is easy to access in the flat area overlooking the French Broad River valley with a beautiful view of the mountains beyond. No mountain roads to navigate, and easy to get into the house, up just a couple of steps to the front porch.
it's only about an eight minute drive to downtown brevard where you will find a wonderful assortment of shops, restaurants, museums and breweries Come and visit the Porter Center at Brevard College for musical and other events, and check out Brevard Music Center for the Mountain Song Festival and lots of wonderful concerts during the summer months.
this area is a haven for cyclists and you will find miles of great roads for biking If you want some off-road action, there are lots of opportunities for mountain biking as well. There is secure storage in the garage for your bikes and gear, and there's even a bike rack if you need to do some bike maintenance.
