Summary: The property was exactly as described - no surprises other than the "dirt" road to the complex that we were warned you needed a four wheel drive for. It is a rock road that has been leveled off and does NOT need a four wheel drive. There are some small bumps along the way, but nothing as bad as the numerous potholes around the paved roads on the island. The condo is supplied with everything you need and has lots of extra "leftovers" from previous guests such as sunscreen, spices, lotions, etc. The complex is pretty isolated, but quite peaceful. A great place to relax and enjoy the sun and surf. There were kite surfers right outside the condo that we were able to watch on several occasions. The seagrass was pretty thick, but others told us that it hadn't been there the previous week. The restaurant/bar is closed on Monday, so plan accordingly. It is approximately 20 minute drive to the main part of the island, but easy to navigate. We recommend Da Conch Shack, Big Al's, Johnny Buoy's for eating out. Highly recommend Sopadilla Beach for swimming. Be sure and take the road trip to see Chalk Sound - the water is the most beautiful you will ever see. This whole island is pretty laid-back and limited sight-seeing experiences. Not alot to do rather than relax and enjoy!
