our lodge is located next to the jonsrud viewpoint The viewpoint offers telescopes and expansive views of Mt. Hood and the Sandy River Valley, as well as the “Devil’s Backbone,” a ridge named by pioneers who were traveling on the Oregon Trail. the site has been considered one of the “best views in oregon” (although we think that the view off of our back deck is better!!!

the lodge is located just under a mile from downtown sandy You can easily walk or bike to get to town but our sometimes inclement weather makes these options a bit less desireable. Once in the downtown area it is very walkable with lots of boutique businesses to explore.
please note that there is no smoking on or around the property including the outdoor deck Also please note that there are no loud parties allowed as we have neighbors and want to be respectful of their peace and quiet..
