perched on a south-facing mountain in the narrow cascade river valley, this home gets lovely light and sits on 5 acres Access is via a paved, well-maintained road which allows all car types to visit. It is the nearest cabin to the Cascade Pass trailhead.

There is a Rais wood-burning stove and detailed directions on how to build a fire. Most of the heat in the cooler months is made by the woodstove; plenty of wood is available.
