we're mid-way between the two yosemite entrances (26 miles / 40 minutes to south entrance via rt 41; 45 miles / 1 hour to arch rock entrance via rt 140; 1 hour 20 minutes to yosemite valley) You're also close to several mountain towns, 16 minutes to Oakhurst and 21 minutes to Mariposa. After touring Yosemite, cool off at Bass Lake, 26 minutes away.
the cottage is on a gravel (unpaved) road and shares a driveway with another house on the lot that is about 150 feet away, separated by trees
although we are located on a quiet neighborhood road, we are close to the main road from oakhurst to mariposa (rt 49) You will hear some road noise when you are outside.
