Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: The location is very good. There is a large creek nearby (not in view), and trees obscure the view of surrounding cabins. The covered deck is very pleasant, and the cabin décor is nice. It is a good spot for touring NW Georgia -- all the most interesting places are within an hours drive or a bit more.
Negative: The cabin was spotless, but the lighting in the game room upstairs did not work. The cleaning service should make sure that all light bulbs work and that all remote controls for lights and fans have fresh batteries. There were extra pillows in the closet, but there were no pillowcases for them. Also, a trash can in the upstairs bedroom would be handy. There was a loose board at the top of the stairs on the porch. One member of our group stumbled and fell because of it -- luckily he was not injured. (The stairs to the upstairs are spiral; OK for us but might not work well for very young children or guests with limited mobility.)
Summary: Very nice cottage near Ellijay. Well designed for a couple downstairs and children up.
