Summary: Our stay started fine. The owner is the property manager and must live their some or most of the time. Within a few days we noticed that there were mouse and rat droppings all over the front entrance and laundry area. On our first attempt to use the dishwasher a few days in it did not work. Our stay was for nearly three weeks so both of these items were really important. When we communicated with the property manager he said this would be taken care of right away. (It was never addressed.) We even had a rodent eat through my kids pants. When we reached out to the owner we were told sorry but it’s just an inconvenience. (When your paying a high nightly rate these seems like a little more than that.). He then told us if you don’t like the place you can move out, but I’ll only give you 50% refund. Not sure how this helps us, no place to stay and pay half. Just unreal. I have pics of the rodent droppings everywhere. With a different owner this place could be fine. The last straw was he then demanded I pay for house cleaning that occurred two weeks into the trip. This was the least relaxing VRBO trip I’ve had 10x. Oh wait one more straw, there is brand new rug that sheds like crazy in the one tv area. No vacuum available but if you want the 1000’s of dust bunnies cleaned you can pay extra. Quite the experience for my family and I, the house has some nice new things but new things don’t help when their is rat poop everywhere. Good Luck
