Summary: A+ customer service, courteous staff including the security staff and house keeping. Appreciated there were security on-site. Enjoyed the daily breakfast which was a wide variety of traditional Guyanese foods. Thank you dinning room/kitchen staff for accommodating our requests and doing such a great job. We enjoyed the fun park, pool bar and entertainment (live music). We didn't get to enjoy the pool because of time constraints but it appears to be clean. Would be nice if the pool hours were later than 6 p.m. The rooms and hotel itself needs lots of upgrading, TLC to fix the rotting ceiling and other deteriorating structures. We encountered a stained bed sheet the first night which staff quickly replaced without a fuss. But in the first place it should not have been placed on the bed. The blanket had stains as well as the mattress. Mattress needs to be thrown away, period! Towels were torn and stained, the couch had a stain on it that could have easily been cleaned when the spill first occurred. The gym was ok, small, not a lot of equipment. The only working treadmill out of the 3, needs calibrated, it was sluggish and the stats were way off. It would be greatly appreciated if there were designated smoking areas. Folks were just smoking every corner I turned which flared up my asthma and caused me to not stay outside too long in the lounge area enjoying the live music. Please consider designated smoking areas. Overall, yes, I would stay here again.
