Summary: The rental property is lovely, and can be described as a rose in a garden of weeds. The check in went well, and owner made the process very easy. Nicely furnished, and provided many of the conveniences of home. Where things went array was in the attention to clean up. The back entry foyer was grimy, and areas around doorways and thresholds were grimy as well with a buildup of dirt. Carpets were stained, and were in need of shampooing. The bathroom floor tile was grimy and discolored from lack of thorough cleaning. The neighborhood was run down, and several feral cats had free reign next door. Overall in defence of the owner, the property shows care, but lost likability due to factors out of her control. Some advice, get a better clean up crew. Finally, check out was completely opposite check in. Was unable to reach owner for instructions, and hope that the procedure we used before leaving led to no problems. Lake Como is a nice place to live and vacation, but would not consider follow up at this location despite the super low rental price we paid for our visit.
