Negative: I would like to bring to your attention another matter concerning an amount of 15,600 EGP that was paid for beach access tickets. This expense was incurred following miscommunication and misleading information provided by the host, who clearly confirmed that we would have beach access, not lake access. Upon discovering the discrepancy, I contacted Booking.com and was instructed to proceed with the payment, with the assurance that reimbursement would be arranged after the stay. I have attached screenshots of this conversation and the tickets for your review, and I kindly ask that you process this reimbursement as well. Beyond the financial matters, I feel it is important to share a few serious concerns about the property and the experience: The host misrepresented the property and its features. We did not receive the unit we originally booked. When questioned, the host claimed that the guests in our unit had extended their stay – something I struggle to understand, as the unit was confirmed and booked under my name. The replacement unit provided had several significant issues: I was electrocuted by the washing machine. I immediately informed the representative who met us at check-in, and while he promised to send a technician, no one ever followed up. The water heater was not functional, leaving us with only cold water. A leak from the heater pipe caused water to spread across the floor constantly. The property was listed as having three air conditioners, but only one was working, and the others were either non-functional or did not emit cold air. These issues caused considerable inconvenience and distress during our stay, and I felt it was important for you to be aware of the situation. While I will be documenting all of this in a property review, my priority at this point is for the two agreed-upon refunds to be processed without further delay.
