the space
we bought this house several years ago and since then we have spent a fortune bringing it back to its glory days and finding the best artisans and manufacturers to produce all the furniture and workmanship that went into making it this amazing place For example all the bedrooms were made by a small Italian furniture factory near Verona Italian. The kitchen and the living room were handcrafted by a local Maltese Carpenter. We have hundreds of these stories.

basically once you go through the front door the whole house is yours Each room is different and we did that purposely so it’s an adventure being in that house.
other things to note
the house is about 400 years old, it’s hard to pinpoint the exact year because malta is famous for having so many invaders such as the ottomans, the british, etc we tried very hard to keep it as original as possible but obviously we needed to bring modern conveniences into the home. One of my concerns was childproofing, which is why I don’t recommend this house for children especially near the Jacuzzi. The concern is that the furniture is very expensive and having had children myself I know it’s hard keeping delicate things around them. I ask that whoever stays at the house treats her like it’s an old lady, with care and respect..
