Conveniently located, we're a 25-minute drive to the Birmingham and Royal Oak areas and about 45 mins from downtown Detroit. The air mattress is queen size for additional sleeping space! Plenty of extra linens and pillows are available to ensure groups of any size have a comfortable, restful stay.

we have a zero-tolerance policy for this We have noise sensors that alert us if decibel levels pass a certain threshold, and we have unfortunately had to ask guests to leave for violating this rule. Being a good neighbor of the city and the block we are on is very important to us.
we have sensors to detect indoor smoking (nicotine and marijuana) and have an automatic $750 fine for violations, and have also had to ask guests to leave early for violating this rule

please park in our driveway, which easily fits two cars, plus we have a two-car garage for interior parking as well as ev charging! if you need extra parking, there’s plenty of free street parking in front of the house as well!

we are available whenever you need! please feel free to reach out via the app or website you booked on with any specific questions For any health emergencies, please dial 911. If a system malfunctions (i.e hot water not functioning or a light has gone out), please send us a message on the app or website you booked on and we will be sure to address it in as short a time as possible (we usually respond within a few minutes). we also have handymen, electricians, plumbers, and landscapers with whom we work, so for any extenuating circumstances, we will happily bring them out to solve your issues post haste!

air mattress: designed for camping, our air mattress is extra-sturdy and provides a wonderful sleeping space for two To inflate, please plug in the pump and wait for it to charge. Once the light on it is solid (not blinking), unplug the pump, insert the end into the air mattress, and flip the switch to inflate.
extra linens: in a plastic tote in one of our bedroom closets, you will find extra bath towels and hand towels, sheets, and extra blankets for the air mattress please use a few pillows from the beds for the air mattress!

- no parties & no overnight guests without prior approval If you’re looking to host a small gathering, that’s probably ok but please let us know.
- respectful, quiet volume, particularly after 9 pm
- please leave your shoes at the door
- no pets please, as many of the guests we host have allergies
- no smoking - also, don't discard your cigarettes in house trash cans They get stinky.
- if you break or damage something, please let us know and arrange for its replacement or repair
- do not leave any food out that will attract uninvited pests Our home is pest-free and we intend to keep it that way with your help.

Lyfts and Ubers are also frequently accessible in the area for any urgent travel needs.
