this unique mountain lodge, recently updated with love :))) is a perfect getaway for families, couples, friend groups and retreats! enter by a charming rocking chair front porch, to an inviting open plan space - perfect for entertaining - with mountain views thru every window Parking is convenient for guests just in front and can accommodate several cars.

this beautiful open-plan mountain lodge boasts a well-appointed kitchen- just the spot for preparing a meal, cup of coffee, or a snack The kitchen area has Keurig and drip coffee makers. The kitchen is open to the living space- allowing chefs to be part of the fun and enjoy views of nature, while creating a delicious meal. The dining room seats 6, with additional seating for 10 with stunning meal time views off the kitchen. Additional seating for dining or drinks just outside on the outdoor deck.

the living area is open plan with living, dining and kitchen areas opening to a wall of windows- enjoy the mountain and wooded views A cozy stacked stone wood burning fireplace, comfortable seating and TV are perfect for game night or gathering. The outdoor decks have gorgeous mountain views, relaxation chairs, dining table and large gas grill. The beautiful screened porch with a swinging bench is an inviting spot to read a book. Other outside living spaces offer quiet spaces for relaxation or enjoying the view, as well as the sauna or the hot tub.

the primary suite is on the main level (queen) and has an attached bathroom with jetted tub A second guest room on the main level (king) has an attached bathroom. Upstairs is an inviting retreat with a lounge (4 twins) - which is perfect for friends and children. The beautiful terrace level has 3 bedrooms (queen, queen)(king)(king) and two full bathrooms. The billiards area and kitchenette are located on this level, as well as the sauna.

this lodge has a large game room with multiple options for fun to entertain groups of guests (in a converted garage space) The Lodge also features a billiards area with kitchenette, flat screen tv to take in a game and cozy seating. Endless Sky has both an outdoor hot tub and sauna with gorgeous wooded and mountain vistas, and a bbq grill with stunning long range views the grill master will remember all year long. :)

big canoe is an 8,000-acre wildlife gated community in the hardwood forest of the blue ridge mountains just north of atlanta, offering over twenty-four miles of maintained hiking trails and plenty of wildlife including deer, black bears, and turkey With seven mountains and five lakes, the community has a beautiful backdrop for its three championship golf courses, fourteen tennis courts, three swimming pools (one Big indoor), swimming lake (with beach, paddle boats, canoes, & paddle boards), stunning mountain lake (with marina, fishing & rental pontoon boats) and first class wellness center and basketball court. As a renter, you have access to all of the Big Canoe amenities paid directly for each amenity. I'm sorry, but we do not offer any passes with the rental. We are more than happy to offer our recommendations about the local area and answer any questions you have about the home or the community. this unit allows 16 overnight guests Feel free to have guests over, however, in compliance with the city regulations, there cannot be more than 16 people overnight in the unit at any given time. Over occupancy may result in eviction.

we have 3 golf courses, 5 lakes, hiking trails, a wellness center, yoga, indoor & outdoor pools, sauna, saline whirlpool, tennis, pickleball courts, bocce courts, jeep trail, beach, and water slide The Fitness Center with an indoor heated pool, Chapel, and Swim Club with an outdoor pool, beach, swimming lake, and water slide are popular with families.
parking:
two or more vehicles can park on the driveway directly in front The driveway has single file parking, with each car parking behind the front car. Additional parking on the way to the home in The Chapel community overflow lot.
gps: some guests have recommended using gps to go to big canoe main gate, and then putting in the address for the home If you are using Google Maps, you should be taken that way.

are wood burning (not gas), guests are welcome to bring firelogs or firewood
**cleaning protocols** a housekeeping fee will be included on all reservations This fee will vary in price based on the size of the property. The house is professionally cleaned prior to your arrival. Please inspect it at check in and call housekeeping at in the event something is unsatisfactory. As we will send housekeeping back to the property to re-clean the reported areas, no refunds will be given for housekeeping issues. There is no fee within the first 24 hours to return and address the issue. All cleaning is done by professionals who use advanced cleaning practices and disinfectants. We maintain excellent cleaning standards and pay above the living wage standards; 100% of your cleaning fee is paid to the cleaners (i.e. no profit to us) and we insist on a professional level of cleaning between guests, with photos of each room to ensure clean is up to highest standards. We fight fabricated claims for discounts with our extensive documentation on the house and post names to web for the protection of other hosts. :-) This beautiful home is not pet friendly. :-)

we know you are coming to big canoe to have a good time, but out of respect to the other tenants and neighbors, this property has a strict no party policy
smoking:
smoking of any kind is not allowed in the unit There will be a minimum $250 penalty fee if it is determined that there was smoking in your Cottage during your reservation period.
minimum age:
guests named on the reservation must be 30 years or older By booking a reservation, you represent and warrant that you are 30 or older. The name on the reservation must be present at check-in and throughout the duration of the stay.
check-in / check-out:
check-in time is at or after 4pm and check-out time is prior to or at 10am Early check-ins and late checkouts are based on availability and can be requested one day before. Additional fees may apply.
cancellations:
cancellation charges are as follows: rental payments are fully refundable until 14 days prior to the reservation arrival date (less credit card fees) If 8-13 days prior to the reservation, 1/2 the total rent and tax can be refunded. Less than 7 days: cleaning and pet fees can be refunded. We will do our best to work with each guest. We have many repeat guests so we try to take care of each and every one.
