Travel Purpose: leisure
Positive: Very peaceful location on the edge of Nieheim village, walking distance to the village for amenities such as bakery. Nice views from the garden. Apartment was spacious. The communication with the host prior to travel was fine, no problem locating the key
Negative: There were no towels supplied at all - no hand towel, no bath towels and no bath mat. Getting out of the bath or shower onto a wet tiled floor was frankly dangerous, I am glad we made it out without having an accident. Basic essentials were missing - no hand soap in the bathroom for the toilet, no sponge for the sink so could not wash up properly. There was a roll of kitchen roll with a single sheet of tissue on it. There were no tea towels so we were unable to dry up. I don't expect there to be many provisions in a self catering apartment but the above items would cost a small number of euros to furnish with, and make short trips much more pleasant
